These terms govern your use of the SBG Tech website at sbgtech.net. The site is operated by Hyrax LLC d/b/a SBG Tech("we", "us", "our"). By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Our technology and managed services, including any software we build for you, are provided under a separate written service agreement and statement of work, not under these website terms. Where these terms conflict with a service agreement you have signed with us, that agreement governs the services it covers.

1. who these terms are between

These terms are an agreement between you and Hyrax LLC. They cover this website and the free, no-obligation consultation and enquiry process. They are not the contract under which we deliver paid services. Section 4 explains how that relationship works.

2. using this website

You may use this site for lawful purposes only. You agree not to:

• Use the site in any way that breaks the law or infringes someone else's rights.
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, or interfere with the site or its security.
• Access areas, accounts, or data you are not authorised to use.
• Submit false information, or use the contact form to send spam, malware, or abusive content.

If you use systems or services we manage for you, the acceptable use policy also applies.

3. the free consultation

We offer a free, no-obligation conversation about what you want built or about your current setup, which may include an outline scope, estimate, or review. That conversation, and any informal advice we give before you sign a service agreement, is provided for general guidance only. It does not create a services relationship, is not a quote or a guarantee of any particular outcome, and you are under no obligation to engage us as a result of it.

4. our services

We provide custom software development, automation and artificial-intelligence work, system integration and data engineering, web, mobile, and portal development, hardware and IoT integration, managed helpdesk support, network and Wi-Fi management, security and backup, cloud and email administration, device provisioning, telecom and connectivity, and security and compliance-readiness work. Descriptions of these services on this website are for general information. They are not an offer, a quote, or a promise of any specific result.

Ownership of anything we build for you, including source code, and the terms on which we host or maintain it, are set out in the applicable service agreement and statement of work. Statements on this website about ownership are a summary of our usual approach, not a contractual term.

The actual scope, service levels, responsibilities, and deliverables for any engagement are defined only in the service agreement and statement of work you sign with us. Our compliance-readiness work supports your preparation against frameworks such as NIST CSF and CIS Controls; it is readiness and remediation guidance, not a formal audit, certification, or legal assurance of compliance.

5. fees

Use of this website, website enquiries, and the initial consultation are free of charge and carry no obligation. Fees, billing cycles, and payment terms for any managed or project services are set out in your service agreement. Nothing on this website is a binding price.

6. intellectual property

The content, branding, logos, and design of this website are owned by Hyrax LLC or our licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or reuse them without our written permission. Ownership of any deliverables we produce for you as part of a paid engagement is handled in your service agreement, not here.

7. third-party products and services

We work with and may recommend third-party products and platforms, for example Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and the security, networking, and backup vendors shown on our site. Those products are governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their availability, performance, or content beyond what we expressly commit to in your service agreement. This site may also link to third-party sites we do not control.

8. privacy

How we handle personal information submitted through this site, including the contact form, is described in our privacy policy and cookie policy. By using the site you acknowledge those policies.

9. disclaimer

This website and its content are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, and information on the site may change without notice. This disclaimer applies to the website only; the warranties we give for paid services are set out in your service agreement.

10. limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hyrax LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from your use of, or inability to use, this website. Our total liability for any claim relating to the website is limited to the amount you paid us for access to it, which is zero. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, such as for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Liability relating to our paid services is addressed separately in your service agreement.

11. indemnification

You agree to indemnify Hyrax LLC against reasonable claims, losses, and costs arising from your unlawful use of this website or your breach of these terms.

12. availability and changes to the site

We may change, suspend, or withdraw all or part of this website at any time without notice. We are not liable if the site is unavailable for any period.

13. changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date above reflects the current version. Continued use of the site after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.

14. governing law and venue

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that the state and federal courts located in Collin County, Texas have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these terms or your use of this website.
